Details for your Stay

What time is check in and check out?

You are welcome to check in to your accommodation from 4pm on the first day of your holiday. On the final day you need to depart by 10am. We may be able to be flexible on this, but only if agreed prior to the day.

Do you allow dogs to stay in the property?

Yes, we welcome your canine companions, accepting up to two dogs per booking. With so many glorious walks here your dogs will not want the holiday to end! We do however request that dogs do not go upstairs in the farmhouse or in the bedrooms in Granary Barn and are kept off all furniture. On request for farmhouse bookings we can supply a stair gate to help keep your four-legged friends downstairs. You will need to bring dog bedding with you and we ask that they are not left alone in the property. Both the Farmhouse and Granary Barn have enclosed gardens, however we cannot guarantee them secure for all dogs and any fouling must be cleared up. Full details on bringing your four-legged friends can be found in the terms and conditions.

Do you provide towels and bedding?

Yes, we do indeed! Each guest will have a bath sheet and hand towel. Hand towels and tea towels are also provided in the kitchen and hand towels and bath mats in the bathrooms. All beds will be made up with quality linen for your stay. The only bedding you need to provide is for the travel cot, if you have requested one.

What else is included?

There will be a welcome pack for you on arrival, which will include coffee, tea, sugar, milk plus some other treats! All essentials such as loo roll, kitchen roll, hand soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cling film, foil, cooking oil, salt and pepper are also provided.

Are you family friendly?

Yes we are! There are lots of wonderful attractions nearby for all the family to enjoy. Take a look at our Things to Do page to find out more.

On request we can provide a high chair, kids bathroom step and travel cot (please note: we do not provide bedding for the cot, you will need to bring cot linen with you). In both the Farmhouse and Granary Barn the kitchens are equipped with plates, cups and cutlery suitable for the little ones and there are lots of games (indoor and outdoor) for them to enjoy.

In the Farmhouse on request we can also provide a fire guard for the wood burner. There is a permanent retractable stair gate installed at the top of the stairs (designed for use with children up to 24 months of age). On request another stair gate can be fitted at the bottom of the stairs.

Is there off-road parking?

Yes, there is ample parking on the large gravel driveway at the front of the farmhouse.

Granary Barn has space for a couple of cars to park on the driveway next to the cottage.

Do you have ev (Electric vehicle) Charging points?

Yes, we do! Both the Farmhouse and Granary Barn have charging points installed. They are pay-as-you-go smart charging points, to provide a much needed convenience and service to our guests. Our charging point is powered by VoltShare and is compatible with all modern electric cars, you will just need to supply your own charging cable.

To charge your car you can either download the VoltShare app or scan the QR code on the charge point (for an app-less, no sign-up required option). All information is located on the sign by the charge point, with contact details for VoltShare, should you encounter any problems (as per the image below).
